dc.description.abstractThe internship report has been prepared as a partial prerequisite for the completion of my degree entitled “Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)”. While working as an intern at United Commercial Bank Limited, I gained valuable hands-on experience that I have detailed in my report. I have conducted a study on “Recruitment and Selection Process in United Commercial Bank Limited and the changes during Covid-19”. The primary goal of writing this report is to explain the functioning of the human resources department and the modifications that have been implemented in the recruiting and selection process as a result of the global COVID 19 crisis. I have described the HR activities, shortage of manpower in UCBL, recruitment and selection process, the changes of the process and internship experience in this report and divided the whole write up into six chapters. The first chapter includes an introduction such as background study, objectives, scope, limitations, and methodology of the report. The second chapter includes the literature review part. It is the purpose of this chapter to provide information collected from relevant literature addressing the subject matter of this study. The third Chapter deals with the current banking industry scenario in Bangladesh and Company profile of United Commercial Bank Limited such as Company overview, products & services, culture of organization, CSR activities, HR operations etc. In fourth chapter I have explained the Recruitment and Selection process of United Commercial Bank limited as well as the new changes during Covid-19 and what alterations they have made in these functional activities during Covid-19. However, my internship experiences such as positions, duties, responsibilities, training, and contributions to department are elaborated in chapter five. On the basis of analysis part and internship experiences at UCBL, some obstacles for UCBL are highlighted in chapter six and added some key points such as recommendation and key understanding etc. Finally, I have concluded this report in this chapter.en_US
