CSR activities of Dhaka Bank Ltd. during Covid-19 pandemic
Abstract
I have completed a 3-month internship at Dhaka Bank Ltd. as this is the part of BBA program. The purpose of this report is to analyze and reflect on my internship responsibilities, experiences, and learnings.In this banking sector, all the private banks are becoming more competitive. There are many ways for organizations to get closer to the customer. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities are one of them to get closer to the customer’s emotion.
I have analyzed the CSR activities of Dhaka Bank Ltd. during covid-19 pandemic situation. To prepare this report, the required information was collected from both primary sources and secondary sources. I did my internship at Dhaka Bank Limited, which began its operation on 5 July 1995. From 1995 to the present, Dhaka bank has been developing its business sector. Earlier, Dhaka Bank used to provide their services only in the corporate sector. Since then Dhaka bank has become known as "Corporate Banking". After that Dhaka bank extended its business operation area through retail banking.As an intern, I have worked for three months in Dhaka Bank, Madhabdi Branch. And this contains my three months internship experience in this Bank. I have explained the overview of Dhaka Bank as an organization, the working environment, my assigned task and my work experience, the lessons that I have learned from my co-workers and supervisors, the working experience in real-life groups, dealing with real customers, my interactions with my supervisors and many more. In addition, I have also discussed the difficulties that I faced during my three months of working and attending at an organization 5 days a week, and also mentioned the differences I realized between my expectation and the actual image of working for an organization.
