Abstract
Social networking sites allow users to share ideas, pictures, messages, actions. Although It has a broad privacy policy, for many reasons, it allows third parties to access a large amount of information about each user which has caused many privacy issues in recent years. The first part of this work is based on bibliographic search, describing social media risks over the past ten years, and analyzing its possible impact on social network users. In the second part of this work, based on a survey of respondents, I tried to find out how users understand the privacy policy and what measures they have taken to protect their privacy.
