Auditing & Providing Assurance: A Case Study on Haque Shahalam Mansur & Co.

Abstract

“Auditing and Providing Assurance” is a report about my three-month internship period at Haque Shahalam Mansur & Co. In this report, I have shared my internship experience and lessons which I gathered in these three-month period. I have worked on various types of tasks in this firm. And I have learned many things about how a CA firm works in Bangladesh. In this report, I have shared the services Haque Shahalam Mansur & Co. provides. There are several services Haque Shahalam Mansur & Co. provides but mainly I focused on “Auditing and Providing Assurance” part because a company needs assurance about their decision-making activities. And the purpose of auditing is to investigate whether the company is properly following the rules and regulation. The auditor evaluates if the data given is legitimate and logical or not to improve the quality and transparency of information which helps to reduce misleading information which may happen. Other Services which I have discussed in this report are advisory Services, Management Consultancy and Consultancy related to Tax.
