Performance Assessment of Uttara Finance and Investments Limited
Abstract
Non-Bank Financial Institutions provide services to clients and need to satisfy them by repayment. They provide lease and invest in different sectors for making interest and optimizing profit. Service can be both tangible and intangible. The reality of the leasing services in Bangladesh was not very good because of expectation gap between shareholder and companies. In recent times, Lease Companies are doing better than previous times. Company can take challenges to satisfy shareholders. During my internship, I have realized that NBFIs are good for students with Finance and Accounting background. At the starting of the report, I have provided a clear idea about NBFI field with the objective and scope of my report. Next, I have provided an overview of Uttara Finance and Investments Limited and showed their working procedure with each department. I have shown significant graph of operational procedure which is closely related with Uttara Finance and Investments Limited. Then I have explained my job nature (What kind of work I did in UFIL) with responsibility and learning. Next, I have prepared the ratio analysis of UFIL and compared these ratios (over three years) with other three companies in the same industry to assess their performance. At last I gave recommendations to UFIL and the source of information from where I collected data to make this report properly. I have prepared this report from my job experiences at Uttara Finance and Investments Limited combining my academic knowledge.
