    Abstract
The garment industry in Bangladesh, in fact, is the livelihood of the urban and rural poor, as it is the only large sector that requires labor and therefore offers enormous job opportunities. Half of the population of Bangladesh still depends on agriculture and faces the worst poverty. Although the service sector is developing rapidly in Bangladesh and contributes 50% of the national GDP, its contribution to employment is only 34.6%. Although the garment industry has achieved impressive results, there are still several serious problems in this sector. This study is being prepared to encourage all companies working in the RMG sector in Bangladesh to implement the establishment and safety and maintenance policies so that Bangladesh never faces any deprivation in the workplace regarding safety and maintenance for poor workers who really have a great contribution to the current economy of Bangladesh.
