dc.description.abstractToday the role of service is a very important to attract more customers in banking sector. To achieve their target banks are now investing their money in different sectors for the welfare of the society. Banking sector is expanding its hand in different events every day. At the same time the banking process is becoming faster, easier, and the banking area becoming wider. As the demand for better service increases day by day, they are coming with different innovative ideas and products. In order to survive in the competitive field of the banking sector, all banking organization are looking for better service opportunity to provide their fellow clients. As a result it has become essential for every person to have some idea of the bank and banking procedure. BRAC Bank Limited believes in the vision of market and Business with Growth potential, enlightened, healthy democratic and poverty free Bangladesh. To achieve the desire goal the bank is showing the excellence at all stages with a climate of continuous improvement. Banks strategic plans and networking will strengthen its competitive performance over others in this rapidly changing competitive environment.” “In chapter one, discussed about the corporate social responsibility of Brac Bank Limited, the ultimate facts of the study, objective of the study & methodology because the study is fully descriptive in nature and the sample size is two (Brac Bank Ltd. & Standard Bank Ltd.) of private & commercial bank, mainly focus on Brac bank but the comparative analysis between Standard bank and there is some limitations behind the study. In chapter two, discussed about the background of corporate social responsibility and the literature review of corporate social responsibility of Brac Bank Limited. In chapter three, the discussion about the place, location & historical background, company profile, vision, mission & objectives, organizational structure which includes departments of BRAC Bank Limited, employee, job grades and other things of BRAC Bank Limited. In chapter four, shows some graphical presentation by using microsoft excel, shows some information & charts and then differentiation or comparative analysis between two banks, and social impact matrix of CSR of Brac Bank, then shows some contribution in different sectors of Brac Bank Limited according to the time series analysis because every year the contribution amount is increased of Brac Bank. Then in chapter five, there are some major findings of Brac bank- which is the greatest contribution in CSR activities, the CSR investments is increased year by year, the practicing area of CSR in Brac bank limited is mainly education, healthcare, general protection and craft & plane, and Brac Bank Limited promotes different donation program for develop the lifestyles of society. In chapter six, there is a five years financial summary of Brac Bank limited which presents the bank good or bad condition. After that in chapter seven, there is some recommendation, conclusion & references.en_US
