| dc.description.abstract | Banking industry is one of a major part of our country which is significantly improving our national economy. For every Business students they have an organizational experience for 3 months period for their Internship course. I was attached at Mutual Trust Bank Limited for fulfilling my internship requirement. Every student has to prepare a report on their specific title basis. My title is Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. In this internship report, I have discussed about Mutual Trust Bank’s general information, history, financial statements and their progress than the previous year. I have chosen to analyze the financial statement of 2016 & 2017. I have given full descriptions which I collected from the bank’s Mirpur-2 branch, Dhaka. Also I have focused on their income statements and balance sheet to provide a full picture.
This report is done by standard 3 parts; first one is General History of Mutual Trust
Bank Ltd. Second one is My Experience as an Intern in Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. Third one is Financial Report Analysis of MTBL.
To explain the financial conditions, I have done the ratio analysis. Both the analyses are very accurate and are comparing the present year with the previous year. First, I did ratios of the individual years to measure how the bank’s overall performance was in a complete year. Then in the next step, I have done a comparison between the two years individual ratios and tried to figure out whether the bank have grown from the previous year or have done loss.
Also, I have been doing ratios which give us information about the current ratio, acid test, inventory ratio, profit margin etc. By these, I was able to make comparison between these two years and trying to figure out which year the bank did the best and when the profit was the highest. | en_US |
