Financial Performance of Hemas Consumer Brands Private Limited

Abstract

I had completed my internship program in Hemas Consumer Brands (Pvt) Limited, as it is a mandatory requirement to complete my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. The internship gave me some practical knowledge and experiences about corporate environment. To discuss the learning from the internship I have made this internship report, which is also a partial requirement for the completion of the internship program. The topic of my internship report was “Financial Performance of Hemas Consumer Brands (Pvt.) Limited”. Chapter one of the report contains rationale of the report, objectives of the report and background, history, mission, vision of the organization. Chapter two includes activities undertaken which are work related/organization wide and activities assigned by academic supervisor during the internship period. It’s all about updating bank balances, reconciling bank book, invoice checking for bill payment, attaching money receipt with invoice & filing, demur rage calculation from C & F bill of import, petty cash document checking, preparing audit file, VAT challan etc. Chapter three includes problems identified in the organization, academic preparation and missing knowledge and skills that need to be learned in the university which are relevant to me as future professional. Chapter four contains lessons learned during the internship program. Chapter five includes concluding statements, which are summary of the report and some suggestions for the organization based on the problems identified during the internship program is given.
