The purpose of this study is to explore the Impacts of Board Characteristics on Corporate Performance based on Bangladeshi listed companies. To support this study I set up 5 board Characteristics and 3 tools for corporate performance- ROA, ROE, and LOG of Turnover. Sample size was 101 listed companies. Basically, I took one third (1/3) of each industry. Annual reports was used for the data collection and I used annual report of 2015- 2016 for the fiscal year and 2016 for the calendar year. To test the impacts, hypothesis was being tested at 1%, 5%, and 10% significant level and there I found some correlation between Board Characteristics and Corporate performance. This study will ensure Bangladeshi companies to focus perfectly on Board Characteristics. This study indicates a mixed results there are both positive and negative link between board characteristics and corporate performance. If Bangladeshi companies focus its board characteristics perfectly they will have a good balance on corporate performance though all the characteristics don’t have the influencing power.en_US
